Building on our heritage in Software Testing and Quality Engineering, this Ten10 Academy course develops the skills gained during the core training. At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Draw on experience from working on a realistic testing project involving changing requirements, complex systems and evolving risk
- Perform black-box testing using exploratory testing techniques, personas, heuristics and risk-based testing
- Perform white-box testing identifying the root cause of bugs, diagnosing problems and using lower-level aspects of the architecture (log files, queues etc)
- Work as part of a team to identify, diagnose, report on and fix bugs, and provide meaningful information regarding the quality of a complex system
- Work in a team to build, integrate, run, analyse and report on automated tests using Java / Cucumber / Gherkin
- Understand and work in the wider development ecosystem, including: Scrum, Azure DevOps Server, monitoring and logging output
