Building on the key components of business analysis delivered during the core training, on completion of this Academy course students will be able to:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a business analyst
- Work with a range of business and technical stakeholders and effectively elicit (through interviews and workshops) and document their requirements in the form of business and solution requirements
- Use a range of techniques to document and define existing and new solutions, including business process modelling (UML, BPMN), data modelling (ERDs), interface designs, use cases and user stories
- Draw on experience of working on a real project with ambiguous, changing and varied requirements, coupled with complex processes and data models
